Who we are
Heart@Home was founded by Marie Louise — with the desire to offer people in need of care dignified and warm support in everyday life, as well as attentive companionship.
Marie Louise has been working for many years on the topics of quality of life in old age and supporting people, both physically and psychologically.
Through her coaching training, she learned to perceive needs, to take action when needed, to listen, and to ensure that people are not left alone.

We are a small, family-run business and accompany each family the way we would wish for our own loved ones: empathetic, reliable, and fully present.
With us, there is no anonymity, no distance, and no passing people around.
Each family knows us personally — and we know them.
Regular personal visits
What makes Heart@Home special: We do not leave our families and caregivers alone.
We maintain regular contact with our clients and our partners in Croatia and the rest of Europe, and conduct regular on-site visits — tailored to each situation.

In doing so, we sit down with those involved and discuss:
- Wishes
- Possible improvements
- Small everyday challenges
- Changes in condition or behavior
This is how we ensure that care remains harmonious, dignified, and humane — every day.
Our caregivers mostly come from Croatia and are carefully selected – not only for their competence, but above all for heart, empathy, and humanity.
Marie Louise is in personal contact with each caregiver, accompanies them closely, and ensures they feel as comfortable as the people they care for.
